You can take the subway or a taxi from Hangzhou East Railway Station to the hotel. Both take about half an hour. A few days ago when I booked the hotel, the price was CNY 912 per night for a basic room, so I booked it. Then, a few days ago when I was browsing the app, I found that the price had dropped to CNY 870, so I cancelled the previous booking and rebooked. But the funny thing is, when I checked the price again later, I found that the price had dropped again, so I repeatedly cancelled and rebooked, and the final price was about CNY 760. When I took a taxi to the hotel, my first reaction was, where is the hotel entrance? Then, when I saw the door open and someone came out, I realized that the door was very inconspicuous. The front desk is just inside the hotel entrance. The hotel has a nightclub style, and the lighting is very cool. My Hilton Diamond card was upgraded to a Lake View Deluxe King Room. As for the lake view, it's actually just a small area you can see far away from the window, as well as the Baochu Pagoda on the distant Gem Mountain. The hotel room I was given was No. 1111, which is suitable for single people. The bathroom is on the right when you enter the room, and there is a large bathing area with a bathtub in front of you. The bedding in the room is also good, and the black and gray quilt cover is a bit different. The toiletries are from the Thank You brand, and they smell good. They are all large bottles. Of course, if you ask the room service staff, there will also be small toiletries. When I checked in, the front desk staff also gave me brand socks and an eye mask, which was a plus, but they didn't mention the welcome drink voucher. Since I don't drink much, it didn't matter. The welcome fruit was simple bananas, apples, and cherry tomatoes, which I think is fine. Breakfast is on the first floor and is semi-buffet style. I feel that I ordered small wontons and mixed Sichuan food, plus other self-service food. It's not a problem to eat enough. The only drawback is that the single-sided fried egg I ordered hadn't been served when I was about to leave after eating. Overall, this hotel is more suitable for young people with a nightclub style. The overall service is mediocre, with advantages and disadvantages. If the room rate is about CNY 760, it's okay to stay for one night. I didn't feel any noise, and the view outside the window is just for looking. After all, it's not a high floor and you can't see much of the lake and mountains.
