#thisischina If ever the dictionary requires a place to define the word ‘serenity’, it has to be The Longjing Tea fields 🍃 Located in Xihu District & surrounding West Lake, the tea fields are incredibly gorgeous and a must visit place in Hangzhou 🌱 This is where the popular Longjing tea originates from! 🍵This is the most serene place I’ve ever been in the city and it’s also my favourite 💚 Frolicking in the tea fields, catching on views, occasionally bumping into tea pickers and snapping stunning shots are what you can expect! The access to the tea fields is free and there are several paths to follow if you are keen to explore around thoroughly. If you want to breathe in fresh air and be away from the madness of the city, this is the perfect place to unwind and chill 🙂 There are teahouses nearby if you want to taste Longjing tea and buy freshly roasted tea leaves 🍃 How to go ➡️ I took the metro 🚇 to Wulin Square (武林广场地铁站) & then took a 🚕 taxi.
