The original name was Khai Quoc(Opening of a country) Pagoda & changed to Tran Quoc(peaceful country) Pagoda by King Le Hy Tong (1681-1705) with the hope of bring a peaceful life to people & away from natural disaster 🙏🙏🙏 The symbolic of Tran Quoc Pagoda is the 11-storey red-brown colour stupa which a height of 15m in each storey. Each storey has a window holding a statue of Amitabha.
