Hefei, a city with over two thousand years of history, finally gave me the chance to visit and experience it for a few days. I chose to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in the old town of Hefei, and I highly recommend it to everyone. The hotel is located in a bustling area of Hefei, less than a ten-minute walk from the subway station, making it very convenient for travel. As a well-established five-star hotel, the facilities are excellent, and the service is attentive. The stay experience was fantastic. Room The guest room is very spacious, and there were welcome snacks prepared upon check-in, including fruits and desserts. The view from the window is particularly excellent, and the room layout is very well-designed. The soundproofing is great, which is perfect for someone like me who is a light sleeper. Dining The hotel's dining options are a major highlight. On the first floor, there is Wan Café, which offers a buffet, and Yangtze Xuan, which specializes in Huaiyang cuisine. On the 27th floor, there is the Horizon Club Lounge. If you're looking for a good buffet restaurant in Hefei, don't miss this one. This season, you can enjoy crayfish to your heart's content, indulge in sashimi, and savor dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall. The value for money is incredible. The hotel's buffet breakfast is also served here, with a wide variety of choices. Facilities The hotel has a beautiful heated swimming pool. The adjacent gym is bright and well-lit, allowing you to enjoy the city views while running.
