Self-driving tour to Naizigou

Preface: This autumn, starting from the colorful forest and glacier of Naizigou More than ten years ago, due to work needs, I traveled several times on the 347 national road where Naizigou is located, but it was not autumn, so I couldn't appreciate the beauty of its colorful forest. However, there was a time in autumn, That was one night in November 2015, we came back from a round trip in the northwest, originally planned to go home via Hongyuan, but the road was under maintenance and could not be passed, so we had to detour to the 347 national road - passing through Naizigou, to Heishui, and then back home via Maoxian. That time should be the most beautiful time of Naizigou's colorful forest, but because it was night, I still didn't appreciate its beauty. In fact, at that time, I also thought about staying in Heishui for one night, and then leaving after seeing the colorful forest the next day, but because I had been self-driving for a month, I was really tired and aesthetically fatigued, so I gave up this idea, thinking that I would come back when I had time. So, on October 17, we couldn't wait to set off with Dou Dou. Who knew that when we arrived in Maoxian at noon, we found out that the colorful forest of Naizigou had just started to change color. Obviously, we were a bit too anxious this time and came too early. So we turned back home that day and didn't go to Naizigou. On October 31, we set off again. We arrived at Naizigou in the afternoon and then stayed in Naizigou for three days. During these three days, the weather and time were just right, and the colorful forest was at its most beautiful. We finally fulfilled our wish of 8 years - to see the colorful forest of Naizigou. On this occasion, we also went to the Dagu Glacier, which is also known as the 'youngest glacier in the world' and which we had wanted to visit for a long time but had not yet been to. Everything was so perfect, whether it was the colorful forest of Naizigou or the Dagu Glacier deep in Naizigou, they all presented their most brilliant and dazzling side to us. I just thought: Is there a more beautiful combination of colorful forest + glacier in the world than Naizigou? Naizigou is located in Heishui County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, less than 10 kilometers from Heishui County and 320 kilometers from Chengdu city, within the range of Chengdu's large tourism circle. The essence of Naizigou is its 80-li colorful forest. Autumn is the most dazzling season of Naizigou, especially from late October to early December, the mountains are red all over, colorful, the most stunning, the most beautiful. Calling Naizigou the most beautiful colorful forest in China is not an exaggeration. The main purpose of our trip was to go for the colorful forest of Naizigou. However, although this is the case, it is really a pity to drive more than 300 kilometers just to see the colorful forest, especially in the most beautiful season of late autumn and early winter - going to western Sichuan, going to Heishui - that is a road of beautiful scenery! Therefore, it's not easy to set off, always want to take into account other scenery. Unfortunately, we only had three days and couldn't see all the places we wanted to go besides Naizigou, such as Bipenggou, Songpinggou, etc. But, no matter what, Dagu Glacier is a must-go, even if there are only two days, we have to go. Not to mention the scenery of Dagu Glacier (this will be talked about and seen later), just to say its location, it should also go. The entrance of Dagu Glacier is on the side of the 347 national road, inside Naizigou, you say, go or not? Of course, unless you have been there, and the time you went was just the most beautiful time in late autumn and early winter. So the main attractions of our trip are actually two - Naizigou's colorful forest and Dagu Glacier.
