Ningxia Aviation Flight Science Education Camp Project

The Ningxia Aviation Flight Science Education Camp is located in Jinxing Village, Ligang Town, Helan County, Yinchuan City, Ningxia. It was formerly known as the Ningxia Anxiang Aviation Flight Camp and was one of the first aviation flight camps named by the state. It covers a total area of 186 mu and has a 460-meter-long and 40-meter-wide runway, part of which is hardened. It can be used for flight training of sports aircraft, powered hang gliders, powered parachutes, model aircraft, drones, hot air balloons, and other equipment. The camp has static displays of gliders, gyroplanes, ultralight aircraft, two-person powered parachutes, single-person powered parachutes, Type I and Type II military target drones, six-wheeled transport vehicles, Beijing Jeeps, and other equipment for aviation science education and national defense education. It also has hot air balloons, powered hang gliders, and other equipment for flight training and flight experiences! Liu Yibing, the first farmer to fly into the blue sky with a homemade aircraft since the founding of the People's Republic of China, was recorded in the "History of Chinese Aviation" and has now become a flight instructor and inspector. He has persisted in his dream for more than 30 years, and now he wants to use his experience, venue, and equipment advantages to popularize aerospace knowledge among young people, so that more children can realize their flying dreams, and inspire more children to study hard to achieve their dreams through his story! The camp is still being improved. Construction land has been applied for to build a youth science and technology sports education activity center, a reception hall, the Liu Yibing Aviation Culture Museum, and other facilities. Once the project is completed, it will be the best destination for aerospace science education, youth patriotism education, leisure and entertainment, flight training, low-altitude sightseeing tours, team building, and party building activities! All sectors of society are welcome to participate and make their own contributions to society!
