The coolest Marriott prison-style hotel in Helsinki, Finland.

Hotel experience in March last year. The destination of this trip was originally Paris, but I saw that there was a direct flight from Chengdu to Helsinki, Finland, and the price was very reasonable, so I went to another city, Helsinki. The hotel I stayed in this time was very special. It was a Marriott hotel in a former prison for political prisoners. The building is more than 150 years old. It used to be a prison. The hotel has retained it as a prison. The walls are very thick and the soundproofing is very good. The gym is relatively new, with few options, but I recently saw that Marriott no longer lists this hotel. It is a 15-minute walk to the city center. The tram stop is right outside the hotel. A taxi from the central train station to the hotel costs 17 euros. 🌁Decor style: prison style 🏘️Room type/layout: The room is not big, but the facilities are relatively new 🎠Activities: Not far from the main attractions in the city 🍽️Dining features: Piirakkaa (Karelian pie) tastes good. I remember there were several kinds of pickled herring, smoked salmon, and I believe there was mackerel as a fish option.
