It's 10 minutes away by car from Maibara Station so the hotel provides free shuttle to drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon.The room is spacious and beautifully decorated in Japanese style with a balcony looking out to Biwa Lake. The view from the outdoor onsen is stunning as you could feel that the lake is almost within your reach.The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Only a handful can speak English but those who don't, try their best to communicate with you.overall awesome
