Wagyu Yakiniku Ichiro (Po Lam)

Ok, hereโ€™s the deal - @wagyuyakinikuichiro is SO worth the hype and calories ๐Ÿคฉ For those of you who havenโ€™t seen it all over your IG feed (yet), this novel Japanese grill place offers all-you-can-eat premium beef and a wide variety of other food options served on a contactless bullet train delivery system ๐Ÿš„ We visited the Po Lam branch for a weekday dinner so there weren't crazy many people. As we wanted to try the beef but didnโ€™t want to splurge on wagyu yet, we opted for Course B. (๐Ÿค“Note: Thereโ€™s a promotion going on now where you can get a free beef special if you reserve a table in advance and follow them on social media) A nicely presented meat platter was served almost immediately after we notified the waiter our course of choice, so that we didnโ€™t waste any of our precious 90 minutes โฐ The platter consisted of two types of beef, pork, chicken, pumpkin slices and a mushroom. Compared to the marinated beef with house miso, we found that the unseasoned meat was easier to grill to perfection. We could also taste just how fresh and luscious each piece was before adding soy sauce, sea salt or pepper for more flavor ๐Ÿ˜‹ Everything else was ordered via a customized QR code that showed all the 51 items included in our course. There was a surprising amount of Korean ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท food, such as kimchi and fried chicken. We recommend trying the shrimp tempura sushi roll, nourishing soups and foil grilled mushrooms with butter ๐Ÿงˆ We were quite impressed by the free flow salad, dessert and drink bar, especially the various types of housemade healthy drinks and Japanese ice creams.
