I recently stayed at The Fleming Staycation🤎💚 in Wan Chai over the weekend. The hotel is located in a bustling yet peaceful area and has gained attention for its unique design style since its renovation. The design inspiration comes from Hong Kong's history and culture, such as elements of ships and ports, as well as the old Hong Kong style of the 70s. The hotel intentionally uses dark green details and brass decorations to imitate the appearance and style of a ferry🚢. The room design and details are very delicate, with every corner incorporating elements of the nostalgic and retro ferry style. For example, the hotel uses a lot of wooden materials on the walls and furniture, and the room doors simulate the cabin doors of a ferry. The lobby elevator is designed in burgundy, with the appearance also imitating a cabin door. A round mirror is placed inside the elevator to imitate the circular windows on a ferry. Every corner of the hotel makes you feel like you are on a ferry, emitting a strong Hong Kong cultural atmosphere.
