Kennedy Town is located at the westernmost end of the north shore of Hong Kong Island, commonly known as the tail of the Western District. It was only developed after the year 2000. Walking slowly from the subway station towards the coastline, the bustling street view transitions into a vast seascape, which feels genuinely great. Standing in the seaside park, facing the sea with the wind messing up my hair, and turning back to see double-decker buses shuttling on the road, with a jungle of steel-reinforced buildings not far away, there's a peculiar sense of secret delight. It's as if, although the chaotic life is right behind me, standing here allows me to shed all the cumbersome burdens, listen to the sea breeze, and enjoy myself.
