Authentic Chinese Hotpot

Today, I went to an authentic Chinese hotpot restaurant and ordered a hotpot seafood set for two at $788. I also chose the rich and creamy satay pork bone soup as the base. The set included four slices of salmon sashimi, a seafood platter, and hotpot ingredients. The salmon sashimi was fresh and rich. The seafood platter contained two abalones, two scallops, four clams, two shrimps, and four slices of white eel, all of which were quite fresh with tender and sweet-tasting meat. For the ingredients, I picked hand-cut Angus beef short ribs, crispy fried wontons, handmade cuttlefish balls, fresh shrimp dumplings, udon, and a vegetable platter. The hand-cut Angus beef short ribs were beefy, the fried wontons were crispy and flavorful, the handmade cuttlefish balls were chewy, and the fresh shrimp dumplings and udon were also good. The vegetable platter was very rich.
