Big Gun Yau Fish Maw Chicken Soup is unbeatable.

The soup base is top-notch! With the cool weather, there's nothing better than having hotpot 🥢 Today, I went to 'Big Gun Yau' hotpot restaurant with the boss! This place is famous for its soup base, and the palace-style decor adds a grand atmosphere. The Tai Po branch has a nice environment 👍🏻 We ordered the Fish Maw Chicken Soup Pot (half a chicken), which had plenty of fish maw and chicken. The golden chicken soup was incredibly fragrant and rich, perfect for drinking a couple of bowls before starting the hotpot 😋 We also ordered the Big Gun Yau Beef Platter (small), which had a variety of beef cuts. It's great for two people to try different types of meat. There was also Iberico acorn-fed pork, which was fresh and delicious, pairing perfectly with the hotpot soup base! The Drunken Chicken was the biggest surprise, fully marinated and unbeatable 😃 The Big Gun Yau Vegetable Platter was fresh and colorful, with a wide variety of vegetables 👍🏻 Finally, we had the Flaming Caramel Tofu Pudding. The staff ignites it in front of you, and the caramel becomes crispy after being torched. The tofu pudding was fragrant and smooth.
