Wilson Trail Section 8 Peaceful retreat

Getting there: To get to the start of section 8 you should get off the mtr at Tai Po Market and take 23k minibus. you’ll pass a sign on the right that says Wilson Trail but don’t get off there, but at the next stop. On the right you’ll see a sign pointing to Cloudy Hill and once you get off the bus you’ll see the Wilson Trail mile marker. go through the little village there and you will eventually find the place to start hiking up. There is an online guide that said 440 steps to the top and I have no idea where this came from because there were a lot of steps more than that. Also, there is several times you are going on roads, you aren’t lost. I was rushed for time and didn’t get pictures from the top of the mountain and also, be warned that there’s not much shade on this section. nevertheless it was a beautiful hike through mountains and villages.#take a hike #hiking #mountainview #trail
