Classical Elegance Nan Lian Garden

Address: 60 Fung Tak Road, Diamond Hill, Kowloon How to get there: By MTR, get to the Diamond Hill MTR station Exit C2 and follow the signs. Can also be accessed from Chi Lin Nunnery by Fung Tak Rd Nan Lian Garden 南蓮園池 was built in the Tang Dynasty style with hills, water features, trees, rocks, and wooden structures. It was first opened to the public in 2006 and became an attraction to tourists. It is connected to the Chi Lin Nunnery by a pedestrian bridge. My fav is the Pavilion of absolute perfection. It's so beautiful in its gold color. Admission is free except for some special events and exhibitions in the Xiang Hai Xuan exhibition hall. There are some garden rules, i.e. using tripods for photography is not allowed, eating and drinking (except water) is not allowed in the garden except in designated areas, and visitors are also requested not to walk on the grass.
