The monastery is a substantial complex, spaciously laid out. The giant Buddha statue, up 250 steps, is part of the complex. The monastery itself has a number of elements for devotion and for the monks'. There is a good, simple vegetarian restaurant in the grounds of the monastery. #givethanks
