Strolling around Tangmo in the leisure of spring is just perfect

It takes about 3 and a half hours to drive from Nanjing to Tangmo, which is divided into an east gate and a west gate. We entered from the west gate, where parking costs 10 yuan, and the entrance fee is 80 yuan, which honestly is too expensive, hence there are not many tourists. Just a short distance from the entrance is the old locust tree used for filming Huangmei operas, which is actually a camphor tree. This should be the entrance of the village, with a water source. Following the stream, you soon reach Tan'gan Garden, known as the 'Little West Lake'. It used to be a private school, and this is where they check tickets, indicating that there are places in the village that can be entered for free. There are just a few houses in a state of disrepair, not much to see. In the village, there is a 1400-year-old ginkgo tree, hollowed out in the middle, its trunk polished smooth by countless touches, a testament to its strong vitality. The best time to see the ginkgo is in late autumn. Passing by the ginkgo, you'll come across a 'maodoufu' (hairy tofu) stall, 10 pieces for 10 yuan, or you can choose 5 hairy tofu and 5 stinky tofu, which is the most affordable price. I bought a portion and felt that the hairy tofu was tastier. Here, the hairy tofu is rectangular, while the ones in Shendu are square. Indeed, the best view is from Gaoyang Bridge. The village is not large; it takes less than an hour to walk around, with a few farm stays. Nearby attractions include Chengkan and Tangyue Archways. It's really too much for such a village to charge an entrance fee.
