5-Hour Relaxing Trip to Mount Huangshan⛰️ (with the elderly) |||⏰Yungu Cableway - Bright Summit - Guest-Greeting Pine - Yuping Cableway Timeline: 11:00–11:20 Take the bus 11:30–11:50 Take the Yungu Cableway and start climbing 12:50 Arrive at Bai'e Villa for lunch, CNY 40 for a fast food meal 🍱 (P17, cauliflower, tomato and egg, seaweed and egg soup, rice), continue at 13:10 13:30 Arrive at Bright Summit and start descending 13:45 Arrive at Baiyun Hotel (P18), there are many foods 🍔 including hamburgers and fried chicken (one chicken wing + one chicken leg for CNY 18) 15:15 Arrive at Guest-Greeting Pine, 15:25 head to the cableway 15:40–15:50 Take the Yuping Cableway 15:55 Take the bus 16:25 Exit the scenic area (The above times are for reference only, as we took many breaks for the elderly) 😄Suggestions: 1. Equipment (as simple as possible) Wear comfortable shoes and clothes! Hiking poles are not necessary, but you can wear gloves. Knee pads are recommended, as they provide cushioning. The ones I wore are said to provide 360° dynamic protection for the knees. The knees do feel soft and elastic when going down the stairs. The knees don't hurt much after descending. It's not sunny in November, so a hat and sunglasses are enough. One bottle of water per person is enough, and you can bring a small amount of snacks. 2. Costs💰 Admission: CNY 190 One-way cableway: CNY 80 One-way bus: CNY 19 3. Ascending from the front or back mountain Last year, I ascended from the front mountain and descended from the back mountain (Yuping Cableway - Guest-Greeting Pine - Bright Summit - Yungu Cableway), and this year, I ascended from the back mountain and descended from the front mountain (Yungu Cableway - Bright Summit - Guest-Greeting Pine - Yuping Cableway). I can only say that ascending from the back mountain is at least half as easy, so if you are afraid of getting tired, ascend from the back mountain! 4. Parking🚗 Navigate to "Huangshan South Gate Self-Driving Transfer Parking Lot," cross the road, and walk past Mixue Bingcheng to the transfer station to take the bus. This is a new way to climb a mountain.
