I wanted to find a comfortable golf driving range for myself. I heard that Xinghe Peninsula has a golf club, driving range, and hotel. I went to the hotel for lunch first. The food was average, with limited options, and more expensive than golf clubs in Shenzhen. The hotel lobby is well designed, but the entrance is hard to find. After lunch, I went to the driving range. It was a hassle to get a card at the golf club front desk, and the staff didn't know if the driving range was shaded. I finally agreed to check out the driving range first and then decide whether to play. I had to take the same shuttle bus as the players, and there was a match that day, so I waited for almost half an hour before I got on the shuttle bus to the driving range. The driving range was desolate and poorly designed. Although there was a shed, it was completely exposed to the sun, with no shade at all, so I gave up.
