🛵This is my first time coming to Huizhou in Guangdong, and I didn't expect it to be so nice to walk around. The streets are clean and tidy, filled with lush greenery, and the city is not big, but it has the leisure and comfort unique to small towns. Walking on Shuidong Street, you can see a combination of Western architecture and arcade buildings; the streets are bustling with traffic, and delivery guys weave through, adding their own passion to the city. 🚃Shuidong Street was established during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty and has a history of over 600 years. It was originally a small fishing village at the port of Huizhou, but over time, it has developed into a prosperous commercial area. Shuidong Street is characterized by its unique arcade buildings, filled with the rich Lingnan culture. 🚜Here, we can not only appreciate the antique arcade buildings, but also walk on the streets paved with bluestone slabs, feeling the tranquility and the sediment of time. On both sides of Shuidong Street, you can also buy hand-painted Huizhou landscape paintings, exquisite bamboo crafts, unique fabrics, and other characteristic souvenirs. If you get tired of walking, you can enjoy a meal at a street stall, life in a small city is too blissful. 🚂Tired of the hustle and bustle of big cities, occasionally coming to a small city to relax, feeling the evening breeze of the Dongjiang River, taking a break for oneself, coming to Huizhou might be a good choice.
