S101, a breathtaking defense highway not to be missed

Departing from Urumqi on 6.15, S101, checking in at Shimenzi Reservoir (Pic 1), Baili Danxia (Pics 2-3), Kenswat Reservoir (Pic 4), and Anjihai Grand Canyon (Pic 5) with the whole line being clear and the road conditions relatively good. There are occasional 1-2 landslides, but detours are possible. The continuous Danxia on both sides of the road is astonishing, the reservoirs are a deep blue that is refreshing to the soul, a must-drive viewing platform in this lifetime, with diverse scenery that dazzles the eyes. The grandeur of Anjihai remains mysterious even in rainy weather! Note: The defense highway facilities are not fully equipped, and there was an awkward moment of queuing for the toilet , no gas stations along the way, so it's necessary to refuel and resupply before the trip. Also, due to the unique terrain and peculiar scenery, you need to pay extra attention while driving, slow down, and safety first~
