Nanxun: The Essence of Jiangnan

🎫Tickets: The ancient town is free to enter and open all day, but some small attractions charge separate admission fees. 👣Recommended itinerary: Visit the south area in the morning, starting from the South Gate, and visit Xiaolianzhuang, Jiaye Library, Zhang Youming's Former Residence, and Liu's Ladder House in order. Visit the north area in the afternoon, including Shizi Wharf, Baijianlou, Zhang Jingjiang's Former Residence, and Yiyuan. 🌟Must-visit attractions (south area): Nanxun is the essence of Jiangnan. You don't have to visit all the attractions, but you should visit the most representative ones below. 🌷Xiaolianzhuang: One of the five famous gardens in Nanxun, Liu Yong's private garden, and a great place to enjoy lotus flowers in summer! 📚Jiaye Library: A private library. 🏡Zhang Youming's Former Residence: A great combination of traditional Jiangnan and Renaissance styles. 💖Liu's Ladder House: A must-visit! A combination of Chinese and Western architecture, with a striking red color, perfect for photos! 🌟Must-visit attractions (north area): 🛖Baijianlou: Highly recommended! It has a strong water town flavor, with Ming and Qing architecture, and is the most outstanding place in the ancient town. 🏘Zhang Jingjiang's Former Residence: Experience the feeling of a Jiangnan mansion. 🍵Chunlan Tea House: A new internet-famous spot, you must try the three teas there. There are water buses, night cruises, and sculling boats, but I only recommend sculling boats. ✅Sculling boat: [Boat fee]: Varies from CNY 160 to CNY 380 depending on the route [Business hours]: 8:00–16:30 daily [Recommended route] Guanghui Bridge Wharf to Zhang Jingjiang Wharf (or Xiaolianzhuang Wharf), CNY 160 per boat, you can share a boat, CNY 20 per person after sharing.
