Enjoy the panoramic view of the island at the top of Mt. Opao peak at Sicogon Island, Carles, Iloilo, Philippines. A 5-hour ride town from city of iloilo by land then take a boat going to the island for an hour or when coming from Manila they have a small airport in this island. This was my first hiking experience and such a fulfillment to reach the top. While on your way to the peak you will see many pitcher plants. Once you arrived at the peak, it feels like your tiredness wiped away because of breathtaking view and fresh air and witness the landing of a small airplane. Also, a perfect way to escape stresses in life and the city with stunning views that soothes the mind. I had fun striking a pose with the island as the background.
