The luminous Intercontinental Istanbul! ✨

The Intercontinental Istanbul Hotel is a must visit, even if just for dinner. Safran Restaurant is an elegant and sophisticated venue located inside of the luxurious Intercontinental Istanbul hotel. The decor and ambience exude royalty with its cream, gold, and purple hues embedded throughout the restaurant. The Safran dining room has a special resemblance of one of the regal chambers of the Dolmabahçe Palace where the Ottoman Empire once resided. Floor length windows allow a beautiful view of the city whilst setting the tone for a glamorous evening. Needless to say, I was in awe of the beauty of this establishment. Dinner was incredibly delicious! What better place to enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine than to do it in such a venue as this. There was not one dish that I did not enjoy. For dinner, I had: Chicken Soup, ‘Çimçim' Shrimp, Chicken Shish Kebab, and Lamb Shank. The cocktail I had was called Blue Dream. I was very pleased with the presentation of each course and every dish was tender and full of flavor. A magnificent meal indeed!
