Iconic Eastern terminus of the legendary Orient Express

#travellerswonderland Sirkeci railway station is iconic because it used to be the eastern terminus of the legendary Orient Express train. The train route connects Istanbul (Constantinople) and Paris from 1883 to 1977. The route passed through Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and took 80 hours. The historic station of the Orient Express has remained in its original state and is incredibly beautiful. Today, the sirkeci station is also an important and central underground station on the Marmaray commuter train line on the European side. This line connects Europe and Asia. This place is definitely worth a visit!!!
