Stay at the Sultan Royal Hotel in Istanbul

This time I chose to stay at the Sultan Royal Hotel at Mustafa Pasa Sok. No: 29 in Istanbul, and it was the right choice! It takes about 40 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport by taxi, which is very convenient. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. There are also various landmarks and small restaurants around, and convenience stores are also very convenient, so you can eat, drink, and have fun. The hotel's decor is somewhere between modern and traditional Turkish, with a sense of history and fashion. The front desk staff was very friendly, and we were upgraded to a suite with a balcony for free when we checked in, so we enjoyed the luxury treatment right away. The room layout is reasonable, compact, and comfortable, and the bed is soft but supportive, so I slept through the night every night. The room is well-equipped with air conditioning, TV, mini-bar, etc., and the hotel also provides free Wi-Fi (although a bit slow), but it is still acceptable. We missed breakfast in the morning, and the staff called to ask if we needed to wait for us to eat, which was really thoughtful and attentive. I recommend you try Skyline Soiree Rooftop Restaurant near the hotel, their food is delicious, and you can overlook the cityscape of Istanbul. In addition, the atmosphere of Havana Bar & Restaurant is also very good, suitable for a drink in the evening and tasting local specialties. Of course, the hotel also has some minor drawbacks, such as the poor soundproofing of the room, and sometimes you can hear the neighbors. Also, it would be better if the hotel had more stable and faster Wi-Fi. But these minor flaws do not affect the overall stay experience. Overall, the stay at the Sultan Royal Hotel was really good. The location is excellent, the service is attentive, and the room is comfortable, I will choose this place again next time I come to Istanbul! 🍴🛏️
