Starting from a parking lot, this coffee spot in the Roemah Djatinegara area has been transformed into a beautiful and sturdy building. This coffee place, which is a transformation from Narastreet Coffee (which used to operate as a cart), uses classic Dutch-style architecture with antique colonial-themed interiors. There, you can see bullet storage boxes from wartime, tents, and war soldier tools, lanterns, which remind me of Indonesia's struggle for independence. For music lovers, you'll be familiar with the classic music player, the vinyl record (which is still functional). There are also guitars available for some fun acoustic sessions. As for the drinks, one menu item caught my attention: the Spiced Cappuccino. A blend of coffee, milk, and ginger served warm, it was quite surprising to my taste buds. The flavors were well-balanced, offering a new experience for me, as it was unique and warming to the stomach. Definitely a must-try! But if you don't like spices, don't worry, there are other equally delicious options. It's also highly recommended for manual brew lovers! You can chat with the barista or the owner, Mr. tepen k.
