Three must-see attractions on Jeju Island's east coast.

On the first day in Jeju, I went to Seopjikoji, Udo Island, and Seongsan Ilchulbong. The east coast is so beautiful, I highly recommend it! At 7 am, I took a taxi from the city to Seopjikoji and saw the sun rising over the sea. It's worth coming here in the morning and evening. From the Seopjikoji Orin Service Area, walk along the coastal path to the aquarium, where you can see the candy house (abandoned), the Xiajia Beacon, the lighthouse, the Yumin Art Museum, a distant view of Seongsan Ilchulbong, and the Jeju Aquarium. The scenery is a bit like Iceland, and it's beautiful! I took a taxi to the Seongsanpo Port Comprehensive Ferry Terminal on Udo Island. The driver said he had to hear "udo" twice before he realized I was talking about Udo Island, which is named after its shape, which resembles a lying cow. Go straight to the third floor, and you'll see seagulls flying all over the sky, following you all the way. I rented an electric bike from the first shop on the left after getting off the ferry at Tianjin Port. It opened my eyes. I could easily ride at 20+ without much effort, and climbing hills wasn't that hard. It was a lot of fun. It takes about 50 minutes to ride around the island, and you can stop to take photos of the scenery along the way. It takes 3-4 hours to eat, shop, and take the ferry back and forth. You must go to Udo Island's Seobin Baeksa! It's one of the world's three red algae beaches, along with Florida and the Bahamas. From the pier, cross the parking lot and go up a slope. Walk for 15 minutes to Seongsan Ilchulbong. It was once a separate volcanic island, but sediment gradually accumulated, connecting it to Jeju Island and forming the current peninsula. Go to the free route to take photos, and you'll be done in half an hour. When I took a taxi back, I found that the city was starting to get congested. It seems that I should avoid rush hour when taking a taxi. I had bora pig's trotters for dinner, and there was no line at the main store! But you have to take off your shoes and sit on a mat to eat. The pig's trotters are full of flavor, and the meat is tender. A medium portion is enough for a small appetite. There's also complimentary tofu soup, and the tofu is quite tender.
