Climbing Mount Hallasan in Jeju Island

The most memorable part of my trip to Jeju Island was exploring Mount Hallasan. There are two courses to see Baekrokdam ⛰️ Gwaneumsa Course (takes about 5 hours one way) A total of 8.7 km, you must reach Samgakbong Shelter before 12:00 as the trail is restricted from then. You must descend by 13:30. The course is steep and challenging but the scenery is incredibly beautiful. Be cautious as the hiking difficulty is high. ⛰️ Seongpanak Course (takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes one way) A total of 9.6 km, the trail is restricted from 12:00 starting at the Azalea Field Information Center. You must descend by 13:30. This course is good for enjoying forest baths and hiking. It may feel easier than the Gwaneumsa Course due to the gentle slopes, but since the distance is longer, stamina management is important. To reach the summit of Mount Hallasan, a trail reservation is essential❗️ Choose the course that suits you and try climbing Mount Hallasan. If you take a certification photo at the summit, you can receive a dated certificate, so keep that in mind.
