Sansu Garden

Sansu Garden is located in Pingdingshan Bang County, previously known as Sansu Tomb. Later, a memorial hall was built, and it officially became the Sansu Garden scenic area. Su Shi's hometown is Meishan in Sichuan, and this place is named Xiao Emei Mountain, possibly due to the difficult Shu roads and many other reasons such as the difficulty for leaves to return to their roots, Su Shi expressed his wish to be buried here during his lifetime. Su Zhe once served as an official in Xuchang and was also buried here after his death to accompany his elder brother. Their father, Su Xun, was already buried in the old home of Meishan, Sichuan. The local county magistrate then found some of Su Xun's clothing to be reburied here, hence the creation of Sansu Tomb. Later, many descendants of the Su family were also buried here.
