Jian'ning County

Located in the northwestern part of Sanming City, Fujian Province, in the middle section of the Wuyi Mountains, it covers an area of 1716.34 square kilometers. It has a permanent population of 113,000 people. Mount Jinniu, with an elevation of 1858 meters, is a peak within Fujian territory and an important part of the World Geopark, featuring the Minjiang River Source National Nature Reserve and a National Forest Park; it ranks among the top ten counties (cities) in Fujian Province in terms of economic development. It is a national pilot unit for the quality improvement of farmers' cooperatives across the entire county. It has been awarded the title of the fourth batch of National Ecological Civilization Construction Demonstration Counties. In 2022, the gross regional product reached 16.115 billion yuan.
