Jianshi Shimen River

Type of Attraction: River Best Season: Mid-May to mid-October every year. Recommended Visit: Depart for Shimen River Scenic Area in the morning, with the latest departure at 9 AM. It is about 35 kilometers from Shimen River, taking approximately 2 hours for a round trip and about three hours for sightseeing. Address: Gaoping, Jianshi. It connects to Henan and Shaanxi in the north, borders Sichuan and Chongqing in the west, faces Jianghan in the east, and reaches Xiang in the south. It shoulders Chongqing and Wuhan, and is adjacent to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. The Yiwan Railway and Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway traverse the entire region. Shimen River, also known as the "First Key Point of Shinan," is a small river in Jianshi that, despite its narrow basin, has carved out beautiful poems in the long river of history. Walking close to Shimen River, traversing through the heavy history and the picturesque scenery, you will find it more enchanting than a fairyland!
