🌸 Ciyun Temple, formerly known as North Temple, is located in the Daguhesheng Ecological Tourism Resort of Jiaozhou City, Qingdao, situated in the national wetland park's Shaohai South Lake. It was founded in the first year of the Tang Dynasty's Tianshun era and is one of the four great Buddhist temples of Jiaozhou, as well as one of the most majestic and solemn temples of the Tang Dynasty. 🔥 Ciyun Temple faces south with a northward orientation and is symmetrically arranged along a central axis, adopting a courtyard-style layout. It consists of buildings such as the Mahavira Hall, Heavenly King Hall, Sutra Repository, Bell and Drum Towers, Guanyin Hall, Ksitigarbha Hall, Samantabhadra Hall, and Manjusri Hall. In March 2009, the Jiaozhou Municipal People's Government began restoration work on the site of Ciyun Temple; in May 2012, the reconstruction of Ciyun Temple was completed and opened to the public; in August 2013, Buddhist monk Liao Shan led a monastic community to reside in Ciyun Temple. 🌈 'Ciyun Morning Bell' was one of the eight scenic spots of Jiaozhou during the Ming Dynasty's Yongle era, where 'Ciyun' refers to Ciyun Temple. 🌙 Ciyun Coffee is located beside the Drum Tower of Ciyun Temple. In addition to coffee and Western desserts, there are also Chinese pastries and creative ice cream. Some friends say the desserts are average in taste, but I personally think they are not inferior to many coffee shops in the city, rather quite exquisite. Crispy fried pork belly is really fragrant, eaten with thin pancakes dipped in sauce and scallions, crispy and not greasy. ☀️ Flavorful eggplant piled up like a small mountain on the plate, the eggplant is very tender, with a crispy outer skin. 🌟 Pork meatball soup, pure meatballs fill a large bowl, impossible to finish, really good to drink.
