Jingdezhen Ancient Kiln Folk Customs Museum This is the only national 5A-level tourist attraction in China with a ceramic culture theme. It's also a national tourism standardization demonstration scenic spot, a national cultural industry demonstration base, and a national intangible cultural heritage productive protection demonstration base. The scenic area preserves the Zhen Kiln, a national key cultural relic protection unit (which holds the Guinness World Record for "the world's largest wood-fired ceramic kiln"). It also preserves national intangible cultural heritage items such as Jingdezhen hand-made porcelain craftsmanship and traditional porcelain kiln workshop construction techniques. Here, you can witness all the processes of ceramic production. There are two exhibition areas: the Historical Kiln Exhibition Area and the Ceramic Folk Custom Exhibition Area. The former includes ancient porcelain workshops and hand-made porcelain production lines, Song Dynasty dragon kilns, Yuan Dynasty steamed bun kilns, Ming Dynasty gourd kilns, Qing Dynasty Zhen kilns, Qing Dynasty lion kilns, Ming and Qing imperial kilns "six-style kilns", as well as some memorial halls and exhibition halls. The latter includes Ming and Qing ancient building complexes, ceramic folk custom displays, Ancestral Temple, Tianhou Palace, Gold Porcelain Workshop, and ceramic music performances.
