Manting Park - expect the unexpected

Reviews convinced me to devote our last day in Banna to Manting Park. This park is outstanding. It’s worth the walk all around the lake, ending to the Buddha Temple just outside the Park (next to it, connected). There’s rain forest, Dai culture, temples… everything! We spent several hours there admiring the vegetation and engaging in a couple of activities. Worth mentioning we did not particularly enjoyed the Elephant show and the Parrot area. These two felt more like pure human entertainment. Although we understand the “tourist side” of it, it really doesn’t make justice to the magnificence of this place.
