Photography Allowed｜When visiting the main hall of the Xishuangbanna Golden Pagoda Temple, photography is allowed, but touching is prohibited.

When visiting the main hall of the Golden Pagoda Temple in Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, the entrance fee for the main hall (donation) is 30 yuan. After entering the hall, volunteers will guide and explain as you tour. Photography is allowed inside the hall (without flash), but do not touch the statues or murals. The murals around are currently being restored. The Golden Pagoda Temple is located on the site of the ancient Buddha Temple Wazhuangde, which is over 1,300 years old. It is now the main Buddhist temple in Jinghong City, overseeing 205 temples in the area. It is a holy site for the dissemination of Theravada Buddhism, with the abbot being Huba Hanting, the president of the Jinghong Buddhist Association. The temple's pagoda top enshrines a Buddha relic, and the first floor of the pagoda houses a jade Buddha statue carved from a large Mekong River stone gifted by Thailand. In the square in front of the temple stands a statue of Elder Wubagu, known among the people as the 'Arhat of Disaster Relief and Demon Subjugation.' The first floor of the pagoda serves as the meditation hall and office space for the temple, where the monks conduct their daily morning and evening classes and studies. The second floor of the pagoda is the main hall of the temple, a place for religious activities for the faithful. It enshrines the main Buddha statue of the temple—Shakyamuni Buddha. The walls are adorned with 'The Life of the Buddha' and the main routes of Buddhist dissemination, designed by six countries along the Lancang-Mekong River and hand-painted by artists. The third floor of the pagoda is the exhibition hall of the 81 aspects of the Buddha, showcasing different Buddhist classic stories through various Buddha statues. The fourth floor of the pagoda is the Pali Tripitaka library, enshrining the Tripitaka scriptures in different languages from Theravada Buddhist countries. The fifth floor of the pagoda is the relic pagoda, enshrining precious Buddha statues and relics brought back from various Theravada Buddhist countries. 💞Tips～ 1.
