Another trip to Xishuangbanna.

I can't remember how many times I've been to Xishuangbanna, but I always have a new experience. This time, I stayed at Banna Manor next to the Great Buddha Temple. It was very quiet, and I could see the Great Buddha on the mountain from the balcony. Three days and three nights. I went for a barbecue (Saturday BBQ) as soon as I arrived. It was full of locals and was pretty good. Day 1: I slept in and had lunch at Three Kingdoms Restaurant next to the Great Buddha Temple. It's an old restaurant serving Dai, Thai, and Burmese food. It's not cheap, but it's worth a visit. After visiting the Great Buddha Temple, I took an electric car up the mountain and walked down to see the Great Buddha. There is a golden pagoda on the top of the mountain, which is quite spectacular. You can see the whole view of Jinghong from the top of the mountain. I walked all the way down the mountain from the back of the Great Buddha to the front. In the evening, I went to Gaozhuang. There is a fireworks show on holidays. Day 2: I went to the Forest Park to experience the tropical rainforest, walk in the rainforest, zipline, and experience the local culture. Then I went back to Jinghong and had a Luoluo Ice House or Adandong Cold Dish, which are must-visit places for afternoon tea in Jinghong. I had barbecue again in the evening. The row of barbecues at Liuniang Tou Lantern Barbecue is famous. Day 3: I walked around the Prajna Pagoda. The white pagoda is beautiful, but the temples in Jinghong are all Theravada Buddhist temples. You need to follow the rules when entering and leaving. Don't wear shorts or skirts shorter than the knee. Respect local customs. The photos are very popular (if you haven't been to the General Temple, you can also see the white pagoda there. The General Temple is connected to Manting Park and is a must-visit for first-time visitors to Jinghong). I highly recommend the hotel. It's quiet and new.
