🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness Overall cleanliness is good. 🏘️Room type/Layout We chose the Hilton Jiuzhaigou Resort and booked a car to Huanglong Jiuzhai Station. It took us an hour and a half to get there. The mountain road was winding and undulating. Although the driver drove steadily, it still made us feel a little carsick. The hotel provides basic concierge services, and will help carry luggage to the room. The receptionist was very gentle and gave each of the two children a teddy bear. Diamond members who book a basic room can be upgraded to a suite. The suite has one bedroom, one living room, and two bathrooms, and is about the size of two standard rooms. The dining room and living room are spacious, with two bay windows. The large windows are perfect for enjoying the view and relaxing. The room is equipped with two wardrobes and two luggage racks. 🛌Supplies/Facilities The room is equipped with Dyson products, but there are no electric curtains or smart toilets. Every door in the room has a limit device, and will close automatically. The doors are heavy and difficult to push, and the door stopper on the bedroom door is not very effective. The hotel offers a variety of welcome gifts, including a fruit plate and almond toffee. Hilton standard amenities are provided. There is no turndown service, but there are other thoughtful services to make up for it. The hotel has a restaurant, and members can enjoy a 25% discount at the Mai Chinese Restaurant. The stone pot yak meat with pickled radish is tender and chewy. It is served with vegetables, like a hot pot, and there are also self-service dipping sauces, fruits (cherry tomatoes, dragon fruit, longan), and snacks (corn chips, fried dough twists). It is worthy of being a signature dish, and is very satisfying. The boiled yak meat is oily and spicy, and the beef is chewy and flavorful. The barley pancakes with fried meat are delicious, and taste great with the boiled yak meat. The yak meat potstickers are probably freshly made, so they take a while to prepare, but they are not greasy and taste good. The snow pear soup with rock sugar and white fungus has a unique taste, probably due to special processing. The hotel does not have a swimming pool. We did not try the gym, and did not have time to visit the kids club. 💰Average cost About CNY 200 per person. Great value for money. 💗Other tips The hotel is located in Luneng Town, about 20 minutes by taxi from Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. We arrived late and checked out early, so we did not have much time to stay at the hotel and did not have time to enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea. However, it was the off-season, so there were not many people at the hotel. The overall service was good, and the diamond member suite upgrade was great value for money. Overall, we were very satisfied. If you check out early, the front desk will help you take your luggage to the Conrad.
