Grand Egyptian Museum - a perfect combination of modernity and history.

The Grand Egyptian Museum is located between Cairo and Alexandria, near the famous Giza Pyramids. Construction began in 2000, and in April 2020, the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum was postponed due to the pandemic. On October 10, 2024, Egyptian Prime Minister Madbouly announced that the Grand Egyptian Museum would begin trial operations of some of its halls on October 16. The museum's highlights include about 5,000 burial objects of Pharaoh Tutankhamun and the solar boat next to the Pyramid of Khufu. Tickets are EGP 1,200 per person, and it's worth a visit.
