Hasedera Temple is a typical Japanese rock garden. This temple is well-known for its statutes of Bodhisattva. A standing figure of Bodhisattva with 11 faces can be found here. This is also the largest wooden figure of Bodhisattva in Japan. Standing on the small platform, you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of the local private houses. The temple has its face to the ocean and back to the mountain, providing you with a lovely view. Of course, this is also a good place to admire sakura and maple leaves.
