Seeking the ancient Qiang people's Muya Kingdom, feel surrounded by numerous snow-capped mountains

Kangding Muya Holy Land is located at the pass of Zheduo Mountain under Gongga Mountain, surrounded by snow mountains led by Gongga Mountain, hence it boasts a victorious view with peaks as screens, and is the first stop into Western Sichuan on the 318 route to Tibet. 'Muya' in ancient times meant 'Mi Yao', which was the 'Kingdom of Xi Wu' established by the ancient Qiang people, commonly referred to as the 'Muya Kingdom'. West of Zheduo Mountain has always been the main settlement area of the Muya people, and it is also the region where the 'Muya' culture in China is preserved most completely. Muya is a photography paradise, highland pasture, sea of flowers and meadows, sea of clouds and Buddha's light. Standing on the 4556-meter glass viewing platform, you can immerse yourself in the mountains and fully experience the magnificent Mount Jambeyang and Ramoche Mountain, and even gaze at the mysterious main peak of Gongga Mountain; listen to the Tibetan Buddhist chanting at Renti Temple blessing you; scream with excitement at the 4200-meter altitude extreme grass skiing field, and the unique Muya culture contains the long-lasting Tibetan ethnic spirit. Local staple foods include yak meat hot pot, yak meat, yak milk, yak yogurt, highland barley wine, butter tea, and tsampa. Local specialties include matsutake, fritillaria, snow tea, and cordyceps. Muya Holy Land is by the National Highway 318, 13 kilometers from Zheduo Mountain, about 45 kilometers from Kangding county, and approximately 18 kilometers from Kangding Airport. It is convenient to drive or take a bus, but you need to take a shuttle bus in the scenic area.
