Maroon 5 Kaohsiung World Games Concert.

Following their 2015 Asia tour, American rock band Maroon 5 will return to Taiwan on March 1, 2019, for another tour (screams and cheers 🎉). This time, they chose to perform during the 228 holiday and set the venue at the Kaohsiung National Stadium, which can accommodate tens of thousands of people. This makes Maroon 5 the first Western artists to hold a solo concert at the Kaohsiung National Stadium. The most impressive part of this concert was the total performance time of 1.5 hours. Having previously attended a Mayday concert, which lasted about three hours, I found the experience extremely enjoyable and felt that the audience got their money's worth. While it might be inappropriate to compare the two, the total performance time of Maroon 5's concert was quite unusual for me as a first-time attendee of a Western concert. The format of a half-hour warm-up followed by the main performance of about 1.5 hours gave me a sense of high efficiency and a fast pace, with not much extra chatting. Although this was a minor drawback, it still fulfilled my dream of attending a Western artist's concert. In 2015, Maroon 5 performed at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, where tickets were hard to come by, leading to an additional show being announced. This demonstrated their immense popularity in Taiwan. For this world tour, the organizers and the international team aimed to find the best venue in Taiwan that could accommodate all their fans. After extensive evaluation, they settled on the Kaohsiung National Stadium, which can hold 50,000 people. The concert, held during the 228 holiday, was Maroon 5's first time in Kaohsiung. The concert truly opened my eyes, with stage effects complementing the moving melodies of their songs 🎶. It was an unforgettable concert experience! 😍
