Established in the year 1973, the charming Hydrangea Park nestled in Kodaira city sprawls across approximately 2,800 square meters, boasting more than 1,500 hydrangeas blossoming each year starting from mid-June. These exquisite flowers grace the sidewalk pathways, stone steps, and the vicinity of a serene pond adorned with delicate light-pink water lilies, enhancing the tranquil ambiance of the park. It is conveniently located just a brief five-minute stroll from Kodaira Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. The plush and alluring retreat has forever engraved itself in my memory.
