The Adya Hotel Langkawi opened in January 2015, which means all areas are contemporary and more furnishings are in good condition -- though there's some minor wear. Though the Adya is an Islamic concept, guests are both Muslim and non-Muslim, and split evenly between couples and families. The design throughout consists of primarily neutral-tone decor, with occasionally pops of yellow, orange, and red. Keeping with the theme, the hotel has a mosque-like pointed-archway entrance, while the grand lobby features lots of metal cutouts, floor-to-ceiling glass, and clusters of burnt-orange armchairs. More notable, however, are the stunning views of Kuah town and the Strait Of Malacca from rooms and the two outdoor pools with attractive mosaic tiling.
