Stunning Yangshuo Courtyard with a view ⛰️

Yangshuo has been my go to summer getaway destination for the past three years, it’s relaxing, slow-paced and stunningly beautiful. The Giggling Tree/Gegeshu hotel is nestled away from the town centre/West Street area and easily accessible by moped (plus you get to enjoy riding through some of the most breathtaking scenery en route). The beautiful rustic courtyard is away from the street and far enough from the crowds of West Street that you feel really at peace here. The full English breakfast set came with a coffee and a juice for 50rmb and is a welcome taste of home. I sat in the courtyard under an umbrella and read my book over breakfast one morning and it was really tranquil. Some of the staff speak English and are really helpful, and their menu is also available in English.
