The better base for exploring

#japantrip So we had done Osaka and Kyoto several times as our base to get around. I mean once you have the right passes or transport sorted. It doesn't make a lot of difference. Having said so, Kobe has turned out to be a refreshing pick. Many people don't consider it or when they do it's merely a day trip. But once you look closely there is certainly plenty to do, see and eat. The food and the night life in kobe are particularly pleasant. Even without them, should you be considering a visit to himeji castle or other places in that direction.
