Dive in the blue ocean at Koh Haa

We took a dive trip from the large island Koh Lanta to the small rocky islands called Koh Haa. We went there in the low season and the best is to rent a snorkel or diving trip there. The water was clear and blue despite it was in the rain season. It was a wonderful experience and absolutely worth the money. You pay about 3500 Baht for the boat trip with a dive company (I can recommend the very experience staff from Lanta Divers) and this money includes two dives (requiring you have a dive license) with all equipment and a guide, the boot trip and breakfast and lunch on the boat. If you don’t have a dive license yet you may choose a scuba experience dive or you simply go for a snorkeling tour. This island is situated in a marine park and therefore the marine life is protected here. You may need to pay a park fee of 600 Baht. There is an amazing underwater world to be seen, with lots of colorful corals and coral fishes. Near the small beach often 2 sea turtles can be seen. I was very impressed by the colorful soft corals and nudibranchs. There is also a small underwater cave where you can dive through. The boat takes about 1 hour to reach the island group from Koh Lanta, but you also may go there from PhiPhi Islands.
