Hotel Stripes KL, Autograph Collection 🇲🇾

#kualalumpurhotels I stayed at the Stripes Hotel for 5 nights from May 15 to 22 plus an additional one-night stay on May 25 before returning to London. The overall impression of the hotel is great. It was clean and well provided. We were on the 14th floor The view from the window is fine: the river at the bottom and other buildings. It was very quiet apart from hearing the strange noise of fireworks and traffic. The hotel is close to the Monorail and Shopping Centre and you can also see the Petronas Towers and Kuala Lumpur Tower which is located nearby. Our room was nice, clean, comfortable and sometimes served twice a day (no complaint) as we noticed small gestures like folding the bed linen ready for bedtime and providing them with a water bottle on the bedside table. The staff were friendly and helpful especially one named Christian who took the time to provide us with details on where to eat nearby as well as how to walk around sightseeing - thank you Christian! The infinity pool on the roof was very nice and not always busy. We did not use the gym facilities. Breakfast at Brasserie 25 in the morning was very nice with a good choice and a variety of fruits, cereals and cooked substances (you can order how you want to cook eggs with the choice of fillings), yogurt, pastries, pies, jam, hot drinks and fruit juice. You can have a different type of breakfast every day depending on your appetite and mood. We also ate at the restaurant where we tasted delicious Malaysian dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Stripes Hotel and will definitely stay here again. Tip: Monorail Station in Toanco Square is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel and is a good stop to use it to get to sightseeing spots
