When visiting Kuala Lumpur, you definitely shouldn't miss the nearly century-old Autograph Collection, it's so beautiful!

After a week's island holiday, I flew back to Kuala Lumpur from Langkawi~ Today is the 15th hotel I'm staying at with my parents on our trip, the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur, an Autograph Collection Hotel. In the 1930s, the Majestic Hotel was one of the most luxurious hotels in Southeast Asia! For the 30 years before it reopened in 2012, this building had always been the home of the National Art Gallery. Kuala Lumpur, as the AirAsia hub and the diplomatic center of Southeast Asia, is teeming with five-star hotels that are incredibly affordable. If it's your first time here, you must stay at the Majestic Hotel, located opposite the old train station. Within walking distance, you can reach the National Mosque, the Islamic Arts Museum, Chinatown, and it's 1 kilometer from the Central Station, 2 kilometers from Independence Square, and 3 kilometers from the Petronas Twin Towers. The location is absolutely fantastic! Besides its unique location, the Majestic Hotel is steeped in history~ The hotel was built in 1932 and was one of the best hotels locally during the British colonial period. Until before World War II, the hotel was the go-to choice for government receptions and high-end social events. After surviving the war, the hotel was acquired and developed by the YTL Hotels Group, marked as Classic in style, and entrusted to Marriott for management~ under Marriott, it was listed as part of the Autograph Collection. The Majestic Hotel has two wings, the original main wing and the tower wing. The main wing is the old building from the last century, while the tower wing is newer~ Relatively speaking, the tower wing has newer, more modern rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a new swimming pool, and a gym all located in the tower wing~ but if you want to experience the real century-old history, I still recommend staying in the main wing.
