We started our hike at 4 AM, navigating through the dark forest with excitement and a bit of nervousness. Along the way, we encountered a snake and spotted several pitcher plants, adding a touch of wild beauty to the trek. The rocky terrain near the summit was tough, but our local Malay guide was incredibly helpful, guiding us with ease. Impressively, he spoke fluent Mandarin and Hakka, making communication a breeze.
